The Board of Registrars is responsible for registering voters and maintaining voter rolls.
Maintaining is a host of multifaceted tasks (example: removing deceased voters, removing convicted felons, updating voters to their new voting location after moving & updating that information with us, registering new voters, removing voters who have located outside of our county, transferring voters into Morgan County from other counties or states once they’ve notified us, etc.)
The Board redistricts voters when there is a line change.
When someone receives a notary they are to come by the Board of Registrars office and get an “official certificate of voter registration” before their final stop at the Probate Judges office.
The Board also provides the poll lists for all elections.
